a delightful Saturday...

Don't you just love the rush of the holiday season? Ok, so some days not so much but for the most part the hustle and bustle is right up my alley. This weekend I took a day to stamp with friends...It was FABULOUS! Now this wasn't my normal group of gals but I had the pleasure of meeting a new stamping friend and hang out with an old stamping friend. Unfortunately none of my hometown girls could go with me...though they were missed, I really enjoyed a day away from my guys!

We had the most awesome lunch...which was a treat in itself. Here's where we ate... The Looking Glass which is convenietly located next to Memories in Bloom. Let me just tell ya the dessert was "to die for"! Seriously, the girls and I each chose a different dessert and then we shared...YUMMO! New York cheesecake, Turtle Cheesecake, and of course a rich chocolate cake that can be seen in the photo on the restaurant's website. I'm not sure what the name of the chocolate cake is but let me just say it was delightful.

A girl can never get enough of days like this one...I was not the most productive gal in the bunch but I did get just under 30 Christmas cards underway...I will share a finished product tomorrow.

The Easter family sing on several of the Gaither's Reunion shows. This is an awesome song and the words really touched me. I thought this would be a wonderful addition to our Christmas cards this year...of course, I added a verse to the cards that I will also share very soon.

Just remember to be thankful this year as you prepare for the most wonderful season-Christmas.
